Who we are

Hey.Kiwi (“we”, “us”) operates the website at hey.kiwi and the tools listed on it. We’re based in New Zealand and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 applies to how we handle personal information.

What we collect

On the marketing site (this site, hey.kiwi) we collect very little directly. Standard server logs (IP address, request URL, user agent, timestamp) are kept for a short period for security and debugging.

Individual tools (e.g. FileShare) have their own data handling. We link to each tool’s policy from that tool itself.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar storage for two purposes:

• Essential— to make the site function (e.g. remembering your preferences). These can’t be turned off.
• Advertising— see “Advertising” below.

Advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-3415735456763679). Google and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to show you ads, measure their effectiveness, and limit how often you see the same ad. This may include personalised advertising based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-F6N5WP5V3N) to understand how the site is used — which pages are popular, which tools people open, and roughly where in the world our visitors come from. Google Analytics 4 does not log full IP addresses by default; data is aggregated and we use it to make the site better, not to track individuals.

You can opt out of being measured by Google Analytics on any site by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Data sharing

We don’t sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers we need to run the site (e.g. our host, our ad provider) and only as required by law.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@pulsr.co.nzand we’ll help.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
